How can i stop suckin my thumb i tried everything even puttin a sock on at nite and putting nail polish !!!!!!

and i also even tried puttin hot sauce on it.....is there anything that can make me stop...i am 14 and my teeth are f***ed up and i need to stop in order to get braces????please help????
