What is the easiest way to clean OLD hardwood floors ?

We have aquired a 90 year old home that has been in the family. The finish is not ruined just layers of old dust from sitting for 3 years without care. I don't have the money to strip them right now. What is the best cleaning solution that won't remove all varnish until I can afford to do them right?
