How does a liberal 30 yr old "kid" make friends in a new state? (i.e. Texas?)?

Starbucks). Or you could go to chat rooms. Meeting people online sometimes ends up to meeting them in person (If you don't wanna go across the country, maybe only make friends with the ones in Texas). Maybe try getting a job. Try something that you are REALLY good at. You might end up making a ton of friends there, if its a huge business. And you could find punk rockers at tattoo places.. and if you go to the mall you may find some cool people there. Just make friends with them. I really hope that helps. Goodluck(:
